Dearest Advisor,

It is our sincere pleasure to welcome you to the second annual Brentwood Model United Nations Conference! The EAGLEMUN Secretariat has spent the past year preparing for this conference and we are ecstatic to share this experience with you.  

We are honored to welcome approximately two hundred delegates from across the nation to our campus for a day of thought-provoking debate and adept diplomacy. However, we hope that our conference offers more than merely what occurs in committee––we encourage you all to discover something new in your background research, be inspired by the words of our Keynote speaker, and build connections with your fellow delegates.

The world we stand to inherit is undergoing extreme hardship, and thus, our conference seeks to investigate the intracies global politics. We greatly anticipate the engaging debates you all will have on topics such as artificial intelligence, digital privacy, and disinformation. We hope that our committees will provide a window into a world where the decisions we make today will shape the course of history. Through these discussions, may we collectively strive to navigate the complexities of the digital age, ensuring that technology serves as a force for positive change in the global community. We urge you to approach these topics with an open mind, for it is through your collective efforts that innovative solutions can emerge.

While our passionate staff have worked unremittingly on organizing this event, it ultimately is you all, the delegates, who are the heart of this conference. We entrust you all with the power to find compromises with those you least expect, tap into your creativity, and rewrite the future of the international order. Let this conference be not a mere simulation, but a laboratory for your most visionary solutions to the challenges our world faces.
